Model structure: Present → Past → Future
- Present (who you are now): "I'm a junior full-stack developer focused on JavaScript, React and Node."
- Past (how you got here, briefly): "I worked in retail for four years, started coding at night, and finished a structured program covering web fundamentals, SQL and algorithms."
- Proof (one concrete project): "My favorite project is a booking app for my climbing club. 40 members use it, and it replaced a spreadsheet that kept breaking."
- Future (why this role): "I'm looking for a team where I can ship real features and learn from code review, and your focus on accessible products is exactly what I care about."

- Your previous career is a strength: customer empathy, teamwork, working under pressure.
- Don't recite your resume; tell a short story with a clear thread.
